Spindle bearing oil is a specialized lubricating oil for precision machine tool and similar equipment spindle bearings. It plays a very important role in ensuring the working accuracy and performance of the spindle, extending its service life, and is also known as bearing oil.


Its main performance:

1. Appropriate viscosity and good viscosity temperature characteristics

In order to prevent the spindle temperature of the machine tool from being too high and causing thermal deformation, affecting machining accuracy or poor bearing lubrication, suitable temperature lubricating oil should be selected according to the spindle bearing structure, speed, and bearing clearance, and it is required to have good viscosity temperature characteristics to prevent excessive changes in viscosity due to changes in spindle working temperature and environmental temperature, which may affect its lubrication performance.


2. Good lubricity

In order to maintain a uniform oil film between the spindle and the bearing contact surface, and to prevent damage to the oil film when the spindle starts or stops moving and generates impact loads, good lubrication performance is required to reduce friction and frictional heat, lower spindle temperature rise, and ensure machining accuracy.


3. Good antioxidant properties

When using cyclic lubrication for machine tool spindles, it is required that the spindle bearing oil has good oxidation resistance due to long-term use without deterioration.


4. Good rust resistance

Due to the inevitable mixing of condensed water or machine coolant into the air during the operation of the spindle lubrication system, it is required that the oil has good rust resistance.
