1.2 If the sound of the rolling element is hoarse and the tone is heavy, it indicates that the bearing lubricating grease is too dirty and impurities have entered. It is necessary to clean the bearing with kerosene and replace it with new lubricating oil.
The irregular impact sound of the rolling elements indicates that some rolling elements of the bearing have ruptured and need to be replaced.
The whistling sound, mixed with the rolling sound of the rolling elements, indicates that the bearing lacks lubricating oil or the lubricating oil selection is improper. It is necessary to add clean lubricating oil or replace it with suitable lubricating oil.
2. Reasons and solutions for heating of rolling bearings
2.1 If the motor is left idle for too long, the lubricating grease will deteriorate and harden; New lubricating grease should be replaced.
2.2 If too much or too little lubricating oil is added to the bearing chamber, it should be added between 1/3-2/3 of the volume of the bearing chamber; And it is necessary to regularly and quantitatively add lubricating oil of the same type and brand according to the motor instructions.
2.3 There are debris in the bearing chamber, which needs to be cleaned with kerosene and replaced with new lubricating oil.
2.4 If the bearing is excessively worn or the inner and outer rings are broken, a new bearing of the same model should be replaced.
Vibration during motor operation, improper installation of couplings, tight transmission belts, and bent shafts can all cause bearing heating; The cause should be excluded based on the situation.
2.6 If the bearing is not in contact with the shaft shoulder, remove the bearing cover and use a copper rod to press against the inner ring of the bearing with a hammer to knock it in symmetrically.
2.7 If the end cover or bearing cover is not properly assembled, it should be reassembled to ensure that the end covers at both ends are well matched with the machine base stopper, and the fastening bolts of the bearing cover should be tightened diagonally.
The working performance of rolling bearings not only depends on the manufacturing accuracy of the bearings themselves, but also on the dimensional accuracy, form and position tolerances, surface roughness of the shafts and holes that match them, the selected fit, and whether the installation is correct or not.
